From 2008 April IDC

So, we graduated the ladies in March, our April class were all guys. Danny, Joe, and Adam joined us for the program where fun, stress, and loads of navigation & lift bags practice were part of our 2 weeks. The successful new instructors are now busy bees in SE asia, with Adam getting his fins wet in the Gilles Island, Indonesia and Danny joined Rumble fish Adventure & Pro Tech as our main part-time recreational instructor. Handsome Joe was traveling, and had a family tragedy recently. I hope he's getting through it in one piece, and sending him our condolences... Keep yer chin up big guy!

Celebrating the successful "all cool Chics" iDc class! I'm proud to watch Gayatri and Danni came through the IDC and I beautifully. The best part is knowing that both are pursuing their places in the industry dominated by men. Gayatri will be the senior instructor at Barefoot India in the Andaman Islands for the coming season, and Danni accepted a 3 months contract in Maldives at a 5 star resort. I'm looking forward to see both ladies rising to the top as 2 of the best of 2008! You gO GiRls!

My Favorite Sea Star

Sophiya has been coming to visit and dive with me since she was almost 10. I got the pleasure and honor to log her 50th dive as her buddy recently. The Phi Phi overnight trip was incredible, sharks, turtles, nemos, yellow lipped sea krate, baracudas, and James Bond (aka. Mogan) performed his usual theatric post dive actions to keep us smiling the entire weekend. Gillmanoids are CooooL!!!
